3. What to do when your baby girl, who has been whining most of the night in her crib at grandma's house, wakes up at 4 am with a 102.8 fever. However, I feel vindicated because even the doc at urgent care didn't see that she had an ear infection. Took the regular pediatrician digging the ear wax out of her ear to see it. Bad mother. Bad. Bad.

    ooh I am sorry momma! That is what happened to us too ... Ear wax build up was masking th "other ear" Hope it gets better

    Don't beat yourself up, we always feel bad when our children are sick. When they are little they can have a temp of 99 at ten in the morning and have bronchitis by 4pm. Things just happen faster with little ones. She might not have had an ear infection when she saw the first doctor, but it changed by the time she saw her pediatrician.
